Son starts shaving!

Whoa. He's a big boy now.

My 14 year old son, D, just came to me and asked if he could "get rid of this now", as he pointed to his little mustache. Truthfully, we've been waiting and thinking he'd have asked last year when it started to darken and become more than just a little upper-lip peach fuzz. Anyway, J, his dad, is not home. I told him that he's really fortunate actually. Many boys approach their mothers about shaving only to be referred to Dad. I, on the other hand, am not like many mothers as I have a mustache and beard myself. Therefore plenty of experience, too. See? Something slightly positive from having PCOS, ha ha ha...
