Breakfast> scrambled eggs w/ham & few tomato dice, 1 Ezekial toast with pb, coffee (s/c=4/2)
Lunch> 1/2c raspberries, 2 mini sugarfree York patties, few almonds (s/c=3/2)
Supper> 1/2c mashed potatoes, 1/4c gravy, pork chop, asparagus, 1/2 apple shredded w/cinnamon (s/c=9/2)
Total s/c for today - 16/6
All right, all right... I see it. I went over my sugar allowance by 1g. I miscalculated, I'm so mad! Supper would've been a 2/2 if it weren't for that stinkin' 1/2 an apple. But... IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT! Plus, depending on where you look, the 1/2 apple may have been just 6g sugar and then I would have been right at 15/6 for the day. We have two apple trees in the garden that are really giving them up this fall... Been hard not having them, especially when I love a good tart and crisp apple with a gob of peanut butter for a snack...
To a generic shake 'n' bake type of product (yes, I included it in my carb count) I added a couple of teaspoons of Penzey's powdered horseradish and a teaspoon of Penzey's smokey paprika. Yum, yum.
Oh, and the apples, I added no sweetener at all. They were wonderfully sweet-tart with a good size shake of Penzey's cinnamon, which gives it just a hint of a burning spiciness. Double yum, yum... yum, yum.
