Now Closed - I'm Hosting My First Giveaway!

Recently I received a wonderful package from Artisana, an organic foods company.  (In my previous two posts I made No-Bake Chewy Gooey Pecan Bars using the pecan butter and Quick Pork Stir-Fry using the coconut butter that Artisana provided me with.)  Of the nut butters that I have tried, I really like the sweetness of the pecan butter the most so far - though I have to admit that I haven't made it through all of them yet.  The packets are very convenient.  Can you see tossing a couple in your purse or having in your car or desk at work?  How about sending your child off to school with a packet of their favorite nut butter, jam and a couple slices of Ezekiel bread?  Pouches are 1.19oz and sell for about $2 each, though I did see some for a little less on Amazon.  All of their nut butters are produced in a peanut and gluten free facility and contain no sugar or preservatives.

When I contacted the Artisana team I requested the option to do a giveaway, which they generously agreed to.  The giveaway will be for the same package as what I received, which includes one pouch of Almond, Cacao Bliss, Cashew, Coconut, Macadamia/Cashew, Pecan and Walnut butters, as well as a pouch of Coconut Oil, and an 8oz jar of Pecan Butter and an 8oz jar of Coconut Butter.  Fantastic flavors and health benefits and, well, fun!  To enter is simple.  Just leave me a comment on this post telling me about your favorite uses for nut butters.  As my blog is young and unheard of, your odds of winning are pretty darn good, too!  I will take comments from when this post goes "live" through Saturday, Nov.17th.  Since I'm not real tech savvy, all names will go in a bowl and one will be drawn by my personal assistant, my son, D.  I will contact the winner (so make sure I can contact you through your post) to get your mailing info so that I can pass it on to the team at Artisana who will then ship your package.  The winner will have until Monday evening (the 19th) to get their info to me or an alternative winner will be drawn on Tuesday.

  1. Other than eating them right off the spoon? If I'm going to make something with them like to make egg free raw cookie dough bites. All the versions I've seen use one type of nut butter or another. Thanks for hosting the awesome giveaway!

  2. This is an awesome giveaway for me! I'm allergic to peanuts, so I can't eat peanut butter - I love when people feature other nut butters!!
My favorite is soy nut butter & sunflower seed butter - I've never tried most of these so I would love to!
    Thanks for the chance!

  10. I follow Rosalie. I like to use nut butters on Joseph's Mini Pizza Breads. I cut them in half and use the nut butter and eat as a snack. Not very often but sometimes I have taken a couple strawberries and dipped in the nut butter. My email address is: tia8403@gmail.com
